Guess who is back from France?
No? Miss Dorcas Meadowes is back from France!
And I come bearing gifts for one and all, great and small!
What's that? You'd no idea I was in France at all? Well now that is just your own fault for not checking in. I could have been dead! Missing! Kidnapped by pirates!
At any rate, I miss it already, but I am looking forward to returning to work tomorrow. The great mysteries of life (and death, come to that) wait for no man.
Keep an eye out for owls bearing large parcels of marzipan, macaroons, meringues, and other sweets and treats that start with the letter 'M'. If you think I'd probably send you one, you're probably right.
